Black History Month Day 21 – Malcolm X

Malcolm X Contemplating

Malcolm X

On this day in 1965, our shining Black manhood as so eloquently eulogized by Ossie Davis was violently taken from us. Since that dreadful day, we have yet to have another “Black Messiah” replace him. I use the phrase “Black Messiah” to evoke the fearful words that spurned a witch hunt by the then director of the FBI, J. Edgar Hoover. This which hunt saw to the end of Martin Luther King and Fred Hampton. So on this day, I will use my blog to continue to see his spirit live on.

In addition to my words, I have included several links to Malcolm’s own words, along with other links I enjoyed.
