Black History Month Day 12 – August Wilson

August2

Frederick August Kittel, more affectionately know as August Wilson. August Wilson, where does one begin? I suggest perhaps performing a Google image search. August Wilson is certainly a man of many faces and undeniable cool eerily similar to the iconic 44th President, Barack Obama. August very much like the dynamic characters of his cycle of plays was opinionated, long-winded, eloquent, forthright and poetic. August by far is my favorite playwright so please check out the links and videos below for your own experience of the wildly underappreciated griot.
